With over a quarter century of painting experience, Fantasy artist Gregory Scaff proudly
meets the needs of the gothic and Adult, science fiction and fantasy communities.
Gregory Scaff's style is a unique and cohesive blend of contemporary Dark and Fantasy
arts, of Post-Impressionism, erotic, mythology, and even of Scythian art. Delighting
in the visionary, the macabre, the Medieval and the futuristic, Gregory Scaff works in the
space age medium of acrylics. He paints otherworldly, figurative and Abstract
Expressionist pieces with the freedom of Fauvist inspiration. Gregory Scaff explores
the holy magic of flesh through his many nudes, and by incorporating the stuff of the
body-bone, blood, shell and hair for example, directly into certain abstracts.
Gregory Scaff often adds relevant Gothic language, runic or ogam calligraphy to his works.
Gregory Scaff has a degree in Anthropology is a
pagan and lives in the Northeast with his wife, daughter and flock of cats. His art
can be found in collection in Europe, Canada and the United States. He often
exhibits at Science Fiction and Fetish events.
